Honestly one of the best – if not top – experiences I’ve had with a contractor. They provided incredible customer service, checking in throughout the project to make sure everything was to my satisfaction, and a high-quality product. The guys on site were also sweethearts and worked as if it were their own home (courteous, meticulous, thorough). Can’t recommend them enough!!

These folks were excellent. They painted the entire kitchen. Walls, trim, doors, ceiling. Painted 30 cabinet doors and 12 drawer fronts. The walls, trim, doors and ceiling they finished in no time. The cabinet doors – they warned me – would take a while but it would be worth it. They were right. It is a lot of work removing the hardware, filling holes, hand sanding, priming, sanding again, priming again, multiple coats of paint. These guys took their time and I’m glad. Were always professional; respected my house. I’m bringing them back to work on the outside next!!!

We had an internal wall pipe burst in a freshly remodeled bathroom and had to destroy the drywall for pipe replacement and then patched it up as best we could. What a mess.
To the rescue, J.A.G. Production Manager Paul dropped by with one of his workers, who professionally sanded down the walls for us, including our badly peeling door, and did an outstanding paint job in short order. Michael was born in New Bedford and went to vocational school there. After graduating, Michael joined the navy and was honorably discharged after serving in the Iraq war.
Michael continues to serve the area, proudly serving on the New Bedford Fire Department for almost 20 years.
After 10 years of working in the painting field he started his small painting company named after his 3 children Jacob, Ayden and Grace – which also allowed for a neat tie back to the Navy (JAG).
Mike, his wife Holly and their children now live in Lakeville, and have recently become proud grandparents to a baby boy.

Jesse Camara Jr. is a seasoned Project Manager with 15 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, proudly based in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Currently leading commercial projects at JAG Painting, Jesse brings a rare combination of deep field knowledge and sharp organizational expertise that keeps every job running on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
A graduate of Old Rochester Regional High School, Jesse built his career from the ground up earning his stripes through years of real-world experience in the field. Today, he specializes in
commercial projects, overseeing complex operations with the confidence and precision that only comes from over a decade of dedication to the craft.
What sets Jesse apart isn’t just his technical expertise — it’s his people-first approach. He genuinely enjoys building relationships with customers and takes pride in seeing every project through to a finished result that speaks for itself. For Jesse, there’s no greater reward than a job well done and a client who couldn’t be happier.
Outside of work, Jesse is a proud father to his daughter and shares his life with his long-time girlfriend, Victoria. Family is his foundation — the driving force behind everything he does.
